About this page
In this lesson we will study two words that challenge learners of English, the verb “Lend” and “Borrow”, two verbs that are two sides of the same event. “Lend” and “Borrow” are two verbs that present the same event from the point of view of its two agents. “Lend” – can be understood as ‘to give’ something to a person to get it back later on, and “Borrow” –‘to receive’ something from someone in order to give it back at a later time.
