What is the difference between the word 'other' and 'another'? Before we study Reciprocal Pronouns lets look at the difference between Other and Another. Lets start with Another. Here are two examples: "Let's meet another day." "I'd like another cup of coffee." Notice the nouns ("day" and "cup") in both sentences are countable and singular (e.g. not with an 's') nouns.
